Meänkieli; Sweden-Finnish?
When the international boarder between Finland and Sweden was drawn the Finnish-speaking population extended far over the Swedish side. This part of the Finnish-speaking community became isolated. As a result, the dialect of Finnish spoken in this area developed independently of standard Finnish. The result was Meänkieli, an official dialect of Finnish and recognized minority language in Sweden.
